berbd collects personal data through several channels: directly from you when you register an account or contact support, automatically through your use of the platform, and from third-party identity verification and payment service providers. The categories of personal data we collect are described in detail below.

Registration & Account Data

When you create a berbd account, we collect the following information that you provide directly:

• Full legal name as it appears on your government-issued identity document;
• Date of birth (required for age verification — berbd is an 18+ platform);
• Current residential address in Bangladesh, including division, district, and upazila;
• Active mobile phone number registered in your name in Bangladesh;

Identity Verification (KYC) Documents

To comply with our Know Your Customer obligations and to prevent underage gambling, berbd collects scanned copies or photographs of identity documents you submit during the verification process. These may include:

• National Identity Card (NID) issued by the Bangladesh Election Commission;
• Passport issued by a competent Bangladeshi authority;
• Birth certificate (in cases where NID or passport is unavailable);
• Recent utility bill or bank statement (dated within the previous three months) confirming your registered address.

Financial Transaction Data

berbd records details of all financial transactions conducted through the platform, including deposit amounts, withdrawal requests, bonus credits, and wager histories. For mobile financial service transactions (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay), we retain the transaction reference number, amount, timestamp, and the last four digits of the mobile account used. For bank transactions, we retain the transaction reference and account name. Full mobile banking PINs, full card numbers, and online banking passwords are never collected or stored by berbd.

Where data has been anonymised rather than deleted, the resulting aggregated dataset may be retained indefinitely for statistical and platform improvement purposes.

Account Closure and Data Deletion

If you close your berbd account, we will continue to hold your personal data for the retention periods specified above in order to comply with our legal obligations, resolve any outstanding disputes, and maintain records required by our financial compliance framework. You may request the deletion of data that is no longer required for any of these purposes by submitting a data deletion request to [email protected]. We will respond to deletion requests within 14 business days, confirming the data deleted and explaining any categories of data we are required to retain.
